My dad had the GMC version of that truck. 1983 GMC High Sierra short bed short cab with a roll bar and brush guard. I learned how to drive in that truck and I used to steal it while my dad was at work and drive to town to pick up friends when i was 12 and 13 years old in the summer time. I had a lot of fun in that truck. It had a lift kit and 35" tires.

I want to restore a 79 blazer to look like the one my dad had, but with a modern drivetrain for drivability/efficiency like this one. I might go diesel and a manual though. Someday...
